Community Supports
Community Supports enhance a person's involvement in the community. All supports are developed with the individual to meet their individual needs and desires. People are supported to acquire and maintain skills that will assist them to be a part of their community.
We provide:
- · Participating in community programs offered in recreation, leisure and/or education.
- · Personal shopping, grocery shopping (menu planning, list preparation, food storage, food safety).
- · Utilizing various community services (examples: public transportation, financial institutions).
- · Supporting people to participate in community volunteer opportunities such as Thunder in the Air, The Children's Festival, and The Waterfront Clean Up.
